ISA round up - 15th June

Easy access ISA rates have dropped sharply with a 0.40% fall in the best buy rate as competition pulls back. Lifetime ISAs have gone the other way with Moneybox and Plum swapping blows which has driven pricing above 5.50%. Fixed ISA rates have been consistent but isbank have improved rates on 1 and 2 Year ISAs today to take top spot. At 1% above Base Rate their 1 Year ISA looks unlikely to be beaten this year. Here's our round up of the best buys and key changes in Individual Savings Accounts:

Easy Access ISA

Plum are the best buy paying 4.38%, which includes a bonus of 1.84% for 12 months. Moneybox cut to 4.35%, which also includes a bonus - of 0.90% - and drop to second. Monument Bank remain at 4.34% but for new customers only. Vanquis Bank pay 4.30% on their Triple Access ISA, although the rate drops to 2.25% if more than three withdrawals are made. Atom Bank pay 4.25% but are only open to new subscriptions, not transfers in. Chorley Building Society have the same offer as Atom at the same rate. Vida Savings Double Access ISA pays 4.16% - the rate on that account drops to 2.50% if more than two withdrawals are made per year. Virgin Money's Double Take ISA pays 4.15% but only allows two withdrawals. 

Notice ISAs

Aldermore Bank pay a best buy 4.15% for their 60 Day Notice ISA. Stafford Building Society pay 4% on their 60 Day ISA but given easy access rates, it's difficult to justify looking below these two.

1 Year ISA

isbank pay a best buy 4.75% for 1 Year ISA via Meteor Savings. AlRayan Bank are next paying 4.70%, also via Meteor Savings. Investec Bank move up with an improved rate of 4.68%. OakNorth Bank are next paying 4.67% alongside Hodge Bank. UBL Bank are just behind paying 4.66% with Vida Savings and Close Brothers tied at 4.65%. United Trust Bank remain at 4.59% but have been matched by Charter Savings Bank.

2 Year ISA

isbank lead the way on 2 Year ISA also paying 4.70% via Meteor SavingsRCI Bank are the best direct rate paying 4.72% alongside Castle Trust Bank. Hodge and Close Brothers remain tied at 4.71%. Vida Savings are just behind at 4.70% with AlRayan Bank via Meteor Savings, Lloyds Bank and Halfiax all offering 4.65%. Charter Savings Bank complete the top 10 paying 4.61%.

3 Year ISA

Castle Trust Bank lead the way as they improve their rate to 4.68%. Hodge Bank and Close Brothers are tied second at 4.66%. Charter Savings are next paying 4.61% just ahead of Aldermore Bank, who continue to pay 4.60%. Nationwide pay 4.60% too before a drop to Kent Reliance at 4.55% and Secure Trust Bank at 4.50%.

5 Year ISA

Castle Trust Bank also top 5 Year as they improve to 4.72%. Hodge Bank and Close Brothers are tied at 4.71%. Halifax pay 4.65% and Nationwide remain at 4.60%. United Trust Bank pay 4.56% with Leeds Building Society at 4.50% and fellow mutual Skipton at 4.45% alongside Tandem Bank.

Lifetime ISA

Moneybox are top paying 5.55% although 2.75% of this is a 12 month bonus. Plum are next paying 5.51% - with 2.40% of this comprising a 12 month bonus. Paragon Bank are a distant 3.51% with Bath Building Society paying 2.60%.
