ISA round up - 7th July

1, 2 and 3 Year ISA best buys have all seen reductions and we've seen several cuts today with Aldermore, Hodge, Tandem and United Trust Bank all cutting today and Halifax and Lloyds both reducing recently too. While some building societies have nudged upwards, they remain off the best buys and the market looks to be easing back with swap rates stable and trading below 4% for 1 Year. While there's unlikely to be a collapse from here, there is likely to be more cuts than increases and some of the top rates look vulnerable to a haircut. Easy access ISA rates have also eased back and the Lifetime ISA war is over with 1.35% coming off the top rate in the past week. Here's our round up of the best buys and key changes in Individual Savings Accounts:
Plum are the best buy paying a lower rate of 4.44%, which includes a bonus of 1.90% for 12 months. Monument Bank remain at 4.34% but for new customers only. Hargreaves Lansdown come back to market paying 4.30% which is also available for transfers in. Atom Bank pay 4.25% but are only open to new subscriptions only. Kent Reliance improved their rate to 4.21% to move up the tables. Teachers Building Society launch a single access ISA paying 4.20% (or 4.25% for teachers and education professionals). Vida Savings Double Access ISA pays 4.16% - the rate on that account drops to 2.50% if more than two withdrawals are made per year. Aldermore Bank improve the rate on their Single Access ISA to 4.15%. Virgin Money's Double Take ISA pays 4.15% but only allows two withdrawals. Cynergy Bank pay 4.15% too but with no bonus rate or restrictions.
Aldermore Bank pay a best buy 4.15% for their 60 Day Notice ISA. Stafford Building Society pay 4% on their 60 Day ISA but given easy access rates, it's difficult to justify looking below these two.
AlRayan Bank pay a best buy 4.70% via Meteor Savings. Coventry Building Society are next paying 4.60% on their new 1 Year ISA.OakNorth Bank are next paying 4.56% just ahead of UBL Bank at 4.55% who are alongside Close Brothers and Hodge Bank. Aldermore Bank remain at 4.52% but United Trust Bank cut to 4.50%
AlRayan Bank lead the way paying 4.65% via Meteor Savings. Aldermore Bank are next paying 4.61% alongside Hodge - despite both cutting rates today. RCI Bank pay 4.60% alongside Close Brothers. United Trust Bank pay 4.55% alongside OakNorth Bank.
Aldermore Bank pay a best buy 4.62% despite their cut today. Hodge Bank are next paying 4.61% ahead of Nationwide, who remain at 4.60% alongside Close Brothers. United Trust Bank pay 4.55% ahead of Leeds Building Society who upped their rate to 4.50% today to move alongside fellow mutual Skipton. Charter Savings Bank pay 4.46% before a drop to Tandem who cut to 4.35% today.
Hodge Bank top the pile paying 4.66%. Hinckley & Rugby and Newcastle Building Society both pay 4.65%, after rate hikes, but Nationwide remain at 4.60% alongside Skipton Building Society and Close Brothers. United Trust Bank pay 4.56% with Leeds Building Society at 4.55%, following an uplift this morning before a big drop down to the next best at 4.40%.
Moneybox are top paying 4.45% although 1.65% of this is a 12 month bonus. Plum are next paying 4.40% - with 1.29% of this comprising a 12 month bonus. Paragon Bank are a distant 3.51% with Bath Building Society paying 2.60%.
